PRO004526 - Services-Framework- Lot 1 Repair of Motors & Lot 2 Repair of Variable Speed Drives

Motors, Drives and Variable Speed Drives are vital to United Utilities and are process critical in many Water and Wastewater treatment activities. This requirement is split in to two lots, Lot 1 Repair of Motor and Lot 2 Repair of Variable Speed Drives. Lot 1 – Repair of Motors The Scope of Work shall include for all works predominantly associated with repair, rewind, testing and overhaul of LV Electric Motors. The Contractor shall be expected to provide these services on a planned and reactive basis. The Contractor will be required to ensure each repair/ installation complies with the relevant British Standard Requirements for Electrical Installations and UU Asset Standards. The specific work requirements may entail but not be limited to some or all of the following elements as required by the Person Coordinating the Works (PCW) 365 day–24 hour–7 days a week;- Lot 2 - Repair of Variable Speed Drives Scope of Services to cover the repair of Variable Speed Drives (VSD’s) that are used on Company sites, throughout its Operational Area. VSD original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s) include but are not limited to, ABB, Hitachi, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, Vatech, Heenan/FKI, Telemecanique, Siemens and Schneider. The Contractor will be required to ensure each repair/ installation complies with the relevant British Standard Requirements for Electrical Installations and UU Asset Standards.
