1486/2017 - Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTD)

This project results from an observation made by the Civil Aviation Authority’s Flight Operations Inspectorate which stated “Crew Training Post Holder to devise a flight crew training and checking policy and/or programme that integrates use of Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTD)”. Crew Training Post Holder to devise a flight crew training and checking policy and/or programme that integrates use of Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTD). This will replace the use of NPAS aircraft for this task. Each will pilot will attend an FSTD every 2 years at least.
