Short description

The London Borough of Lambeth is seeking experienced providers to deliver Short Breaks Services for Disabled Children and Young People. Short breaks offer children and young people with disabilities opportunities to engage in positive experiences and activities that help their personal and social development. This service also provides parents and families with an essential and valuable break (or respite) from what can be demanding caring responsibilities. The tender will be separated into four Lots - 1. After School Activities, 2. Weekend Activities, 3. Holiday Activities & 4. Delivery of Short Break Activities at the Bolton Crescent Adventure Playground Site. The framework contracts / contract will run for 3 years at a value of £4,500,000. The Council may extend the framework for an additional 2 years (one plus one) at a value of £7,500,000 if the extension periods are fully utilised.
There is no restriction on the number of lots that Providers can apply for.

Description of the procurement

The Council is seeking a single provider to deliver short breaks services (after school, weekend and holiday activities) from the adventure playground site at Bolton Crescent. The contract value will be a maximum of £600,000.00 per annum or £1,800,000.00 over 5 years if the extension periods are fully utilized. The awarded provider will be responsible for facility management of the site.
