Open Access Youth Work

The Borough Council of Calderdale invites you to submit a Tender for Open Access Youth Work. The service aims are: 1. To build the resilience and well-being of young people in Calderdale. 2. To support young people to explore their values, beliefs, ideas and issues 3. To enable young people to develop their voice, influence and place in society 4. To build the confidence and skills of young people to realise their full potential. 5. To provide space for young people to meet friends, socialise and have fun Scope The Open Access and Detached Youth Work will be available for young people aged 13 – 19 (25 if SEND). Open Access provision - based in local, accessible premises is required in o Park Ward (Halifax) o Rastrick o Illingworth / Mixenden o Ovenden. 4.2 Detached/Street based youth work is required in o Brighouse o Elland
