Provision of a Discounted Electricity Purchase agreement via the installation of a free of charge Combined Heat and Power Unit (CHP) at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is undertaking a project to replace it's existing 225kwe Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plant. The trust will wish to enter into a "discounted electricity purchase agreement", whereby a CHP owner/supplier shall deliver and install free of charge a CHP unit in order to generate electricity and heat for our Leighton site. It is envisaged that the agreement will be for an initial period of 10 years with the trust holding the option to extend the arrangements for a further period of up to 5 years.
