The Council requires a suitably qualified and experienced Water Hygiene contractor to provide the prevention, risk management and control of Legionella bacteria in water systems. This requires the undertaking of a monitoring programme of all Water Systems, regular reviewing and auditing of the risk assessment and the scheme of control and conducting new risk assessment as and when required to the Council, the Contract will be awarded to one Contractor. It is anticipated that the contract will run from 1st April 2024 for an initial 3 years to 31st March 2027, after which the Council reserves the right to extend the contract for a further 2 x 1 year periods.
Estimated at £180,000. This makes the estimated value of the contract, excluding VAT, £900,000 total if all extension options are taken up. However, this is an indicative amount for information only and no guarantee of future contract value should be assumed.
