Invitation to tender for: Microbiology Managed Service

Tenderers are invited, subject to the terms of this letter and also to the Terms of Offer, for the supply of the above, in accordance with our General and Supplementary Terms and Conditions for the goods/services detailed in the Specification.
The University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM) on behalf of the joint venture between University Hospital of North Midlands (UHNM), Mid Cheshire NHS FT (MCFT) does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any Offer and reserves the right to accept an Offer either in whole or in part, each item being for this purpose treated as offered separately. The Trusts reserve the right to award contracts for the supply of the product/service described above and arising out of this procurement process, to more than one supplier.
Offers must only be returned through the electronic system no later than 12.30 (am) 02/11/2018. No other form of offer will be accepted.
Tenderers must enclose all required documents and respond to all questions only through our electronic system. Tenderers should take care to register in the system as soon as possible in order to see all the documentation.
Important Information
As part of the procurement process two ‘Supplier Briefing Days’ will be held to allow all potential suppliers / bidders the opportunity to gain an overview of the current pathology services at the Trusts and to better understand the configuration of existing laboratory space on both sites in order to provide an innovative solution that makes best use of technology and equipment and allows the service to be delivered from a restricted footprint.
The Supplier Briefing days will take place on/at the following dates and locations:
20th September 2018 – 09.00am to 16.00pm for:
