The Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust (RCHT) comprises of 3 hospital sites: Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro; West Cornwall Hospital, Penzance; and St Michael's Hospital, Hayle; providing acute care, urgent, emergency and general health services to a resident population of circa 550,000 with a significantly increased summer population. A comprehensive range of imaging services is provided across the full range of modalities at RCHT utilising the x-ray and imaging equipment necessary to support an acute district hospital service, including CT, MRI, Interventional Radiography, Cardiology, Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine, General X-Ray, Mammography services including mobile breast screening and associated ancillary equipment.
