Two services are being procured, both of which are part of Camden's Adult Pathway:Lot 1, Substance Misuse Service and Lot 2 Women's Recovery Service. The Adult Pathway is central to the Council’s successful homelessness prevention strategy for single homeless people and is an integral part of the Council’s Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy 2019-24. It contributes towards the Camden 2025 vision by being a key resource for reducing rough sleeping on the streets, by providing a safe place for vulnerable people and by helping to ensure that people access services they need to keep themselves well and helping people to access work that is right for them. The Adult Pathway is designed to support service users to progress through appropriate temporary supported accommodation options towards more permanent placements. Lot 1 Substance Misuse Service: delivering accommodation and support to single homeless men and women aged 18 or over with drug and/or alcohol dependencies. Many will also have support needs in relation, but not exclusively, to mental health, personality disorders, offending and/or domestic abuse or violence. Service users will typically be resistant to addressing their drug and alcohol dependencies and not engaging with treatment services. Lot 2, Women's only Recovery Service: The service will provide high level support within a purpose built property to 22 residents who may or may not be engaging or able to access mainstream services and therefore present a high risk to themselves or others. Both services will opertate in a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE).
