The Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire (PCC) requires a service provider to provide a Victims Awareness Course in Cheshire. This will be an educational option to individuals who are dealt with for minor offences. It will form part of a number of referral options available when an individual admits to a minor offence and is dealt with by either a Community Resolution or a Conditional Caution. By having this service in place it will enable the Police to refer an offender to attend a specified course to be educated about the impact of crime on a victim or wider society. This option does come with constraints which are identified in the RFQ. Bidders are asked to provide a solution that can offer either classroom and/or virtual based courses.
