A0630 - Provision of Lift maintenance

The Greater Manchester Police (GMP) is looking to tender a contract for the proactive maintenance of the lift estate across the GMP owned buildings and for 24/7 reactive maintenance where required. GMP has approximately 30 lifts across the estate, the majority of which require a monthly check. The maintenance, correct adjustment and repair and/or replacement shall include the entire installation of each lift unit, starting from and including the /mccb’s/mcb’s of the incoming electrical supplies in the machine room/space i.e. Main isolators and distribution boards, and excluding only work arising from abuse, misuse or accidental damage to the lift car interior and lift landing entrances. The contract value stated in this PIN is the current best estimate for value over a 5 year contract. This may be revised prior to the issue of the OJEU Contract Notice. This Prior Information Notice is not being used as a call for competition. Potential providers who do not express an interest at this stage will not be excluded from bidding after the OJEU Contract Notice is published.
