Greater Manchester Police seeks to appoint a provider to support the design and delivery of senior level promotion processes. The provider will be required to deliver a robust, consistent and standardised assessment centre to ensure the credibility of the selection process for our future senior leaders. The contract will consist of a number of elements, including stakeholder analysis, design (including training and briefing) and resourcing. The assessment centre structure will vary between the Chief Inspector, Superintendent and Chief Superintendent processes. They must be distinctly different in order to differentiate each of the ranks. The successful supplier will provide and train assessors, role players and role actors for the activities based on the College of Policing’s Competency and Values Framework (CVF) with the exception of any board or multiple mini interviews. The assessment centres will be expected to accommodate 6 candidates per day and the duration would be based on the number of applicants.
