Short description

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Lincolnshire (PCC) is looking to appoint a contractor for the provision of insurance services (excluding broking services). It is envisaged that the initial Contract Term shall be for an annual contract under a three year Long Term Agreement from 1st April 2018 with two options to extend for a period of 12 months each at the sole discretion of the PCC. This procurement process will be divided into five lots:
Lot 1 – Employers Liability
Lot 2 – Public, Products, Pollution Liability, Officials Indemnity, Libel
Lot 3 – Professional Indemnity
Lot 4 – Motor Fleet
Lot 5 – Fidelity Guarantee.

Suitability to pursue the professional activity, including requirements relating to enrolment on professional or trade registers

List and brief description of conditions:  Insurers will be insurance companies authorised to write classes of insurance listed within the EU Member states subject to English/Welsh Law and the Jurisdiction of the English/Welsh courts. The service will be regulated by the provisions of the Insurance Act 1982 and any modification thereof. Bids are permitted from Insurance Companies and Managing General Agents working with specific Insurers. Bids are not permitted from Insurance Brokers unless working exclusively with an identified Insurer who has expressed interest in the Contract Notice.
