Contract information

Title attributed to the contract: Lived Experience Service
Description:

It is our intention to use “experts” from the community to help us shape and deliver a sustainable lived experience co production model. To this end the OPCC for Leicestershire and the Probation service are seeking to engage and commission a Facilitator to undertake this work on our behalf. To be fully reflective of service across LLR we would expect that working links would need to be developed and that participants will come from a variety of service backgrounds, such as (but not limited to):

Criminal Justice agencies

Health and Social Care agencies

Mental Health Services

Substance misuse and alcohol services

Family and Relationships support (such as Domestic abuse support)

Accommodation

It is fundamental principle of this work that it is both trauma-informed and gender specific. It is the commissioners’ expectation that any face to face contact with women is undertaken by women only staff.

There are a number of strands to this brief, there will be a period of scoping and consultation then implementation and delivery and finally evaluation and embedding.

Within the initial scoping the key activities should include:

Undertake research to understand what the different models of co- productivity are

To work with the multi-agency steering group members to develop a co -productive strand of the delivery plan

Consult with participants to understand their needs and ideas

During implementation and delivery the key activities should include:

Consultation with participants on how to engage, recruit and retain participants to ensure there is a consistent service user voice that informs delivery going forward

Reach out to other gender specific service user groups to develop a local network

Build a sustainable delivery model, which is future proofed and partnership led

Test the delivery model

Develop an exit plan as part of this work transitioning to a community owned asset

Develop a suite of measurements to demonstrate the outcomes achieved
