UKAEA (the Client) owns and operates the Culham Centre for Fusion Energy (CCFE) which is the UK's national laboratory for fusion research. CCFE is based at Culham Science Centre in Oxfordshire. 

The purpose and aim of this project are to fully refurbish the JALT Lecture Theatre and disabled access ramp, and localised refurbishment of the ancillary projector room, lecture theatre stores, interpreter rooms and associated access corridor and stores, to provide a modernised area that is suitable for the current needs of UKAEA.
