West Yorkshire Combined Authority is looking to appoint a supplier to create and deliver an innovative programme that should engage, inspire, and excite primary aged children (aged 7-11) about future career opportunities within the green economy.
The programme is envisaged to raise the aspirations and broaden the horizons of at least 1,000 primary age pupils from across West Yorkshire through career-related learning with a focus on green skills, pathways and career opportunities. We want to excite children about relevant subjects, enhance their understanding of green skills and jobs, challenge gender and social stereotypes, increase the young people’s confidence and attitude to learning through a mix of engaging activities that connect learning to life and opportunities.
