United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority, UKAEA, is an executive non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero.

Our role is to research fusion energy and related technologies, with the aim of positioning the UK as a leader in Fusion Technology and sustainable Fusion energy.

This portal allows organisations to view equipment and related inventory that is surplus to UKAEA requirements and is available for sale giving potential buyers the opportunity to submit bids in line with the conditions of sale as set out in the details of the item.

It is essential that a valid buyers purchase order is in place allowing associated UKAEA invoice issue prior to any transfer of any identified items. Failure to operate in accordance with this requirement will restrict enablement of transfer goods. Please see managing public money for more information. Due to the actions of the Russian government, with immediate effect, UKAEA will not be conducting any procurement, commercial, business development or supply chain activity with any Russian entity.

This includes any goods or services originating from or being supplied to a Russian source, even if not necessarily the Main Contractor. When conducting business with UKAEA, the buyer must confirm they are wholly aligned with this policy.
