AUDIOLOGY UNIFIED PATIENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Mental Health, Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale
Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust (the “Authority”) wishes to procure a single
audiological patient management system across all three boroughs that will
operate on a single database. Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust Audiology
Services are provided across Bury, Rochdale and Oldham. Currently the various
boroughs operate on different patient management systems. Bury and Oldham
operates through Practice Navigator whilst Rochdale utilises the Audit base
system. The aim of the procurement exercise is to ensure a single audiological
patient management system across all three boroughs that will operate on a
single database. Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust Audiology Services are
provided across Bury, Rochdale and Oldham. This should enable easily
accessible locality information whilst giving access to all audiology records
across the organisation.
The contract is initially for setting up the system and a yearly maintenance contract to be put in place once the system is running correctly. Contract for the database unification project ends after full implementation, but the duration for the maintenance & support (upgrade) element of the project is 2 years plus two possible extensions of 1 year (2+1+1). The extensions are subject to the discretion of the Trust
