Insurance Services for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Authority
Insurance Services for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Authority commencing 1st April 2016-31st March 2017 to include Long Term Agreement options of 3 +1 + 1 years. The contract is for 9 lots and tenderers are invited to tender for one or more lots. Please refer to the Invitation to Tender and supporting documents for further information
Tenders for insurance risk will e invited on the basis of a three year Long Term Agreement with the option to extend for a further two years in periods of one year. Insurers will be permitted for all or some of the risk classes.
Property Damage, Money, Contract Works and Business Interruption as more fully detailed in the Invitation to Tender and supporting documents
Employer’s Liability, Public and Products Liability, Officials’ Indemnity, Professional Negligence and Libel and Slander as more fully detailed in the Invitation to Tender and supporting documents

The tender is open to insurance companies who must be licensed to transact insurance business in the categories listed in II.1.6 either in the UK or the EC Member State of Domicile.

Details of names and qualifications of employees who would be responsible for the delivery of services. List of other public bodies insured and risk classes involved

The tender is open to insurance companies who are licensed to provide the insurance cover required either in the UK or in the EC Member State of Domicile. Insurers must be authorised by the UK Financial Conduct Authority or equivalent.

the Lead Procurement Representative, as detailed in “Section 1.6”. Tenders must arrive by the date and time stipulated. It is the Potential Provider’s responsibility to ensure it is familiar with the e-tendering system in order to upload the tender on time and ensure arrival by the closing date and time stipulated. Potential providers
should allow sufficient time for submissions to be made before the deadline for submitting tender responses. The EU Supply portal will be locked to potential bidders at the deadline date and time stated above. Late submissions will not be accepted after the stated deadline has passed and the DWFRS will not consider
requests for extension of the time or date fixed for the submission of responses.
The DWFRS may, however, in its own absolute discretion extend the time or date fixed for submission in such circumstances the DWFRS will notify all Tenderers of any change. Tenderers should submit only such information as is necessary to respond effectively to this ITT. Unless specifically requested, extraneous presentation materials are neither necessary nor desired. Tenders will be
evaluated on the basis of the information submitted by the Deadline. If a tenderer wishes to tender on the basis of an amended or altered specification or conditions of contract, then he should submit one tender in exact compliance and another tender offering an alternative.
