    Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

    Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has established a Framework Agreement, consisting of three suppliers, for the supply, installation and maintenance of various car parking systems via mini competition. There is no call off option within this framework.

    The Framework Agreement is available for use by UK public sector bodies identified at section VI2 (and any future successors to these organisations), which include NHS bodies, Central Government Departments and their Arm‘s Length Bodies and Agencies, Non Departmental Public Bodies and wider public sector organisations, including Local Authorities.

    Equipment required under this Framework Agreement may include any of the following;

    Automatic Pay & Display Systems; Entry & Exit Terminal Systems, including Barrier Control;

    Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) Systems; Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Systems; Car parking Control Stations and Associated Control System Equipment; Associated Software Packages and Information Systems; Associated Street Furniture; Associated Signage & Visual Indicators; Intercom Systems; Data Capture & Processing Systems, including Remote Monitoring; Additional goods or services which are necessary for the implementation and operation of the above.

    Associated services included within this Framework Agreement may include a combination of any of the following;

    Project Design, Planning & Management, including any necessary planning permission required for installation; Any associated Civil Engineering Works; Project & Contract Management; Configuration & Testing; Training; System Monitoring & Repairs; On-going maintenance; Servicing; Any necessary upgrades & system enhancements; Any associated equipment and installation warranties; Interfacing, interconnectivity and integration with other systems; Transfer of existing equipment, as required, to the Contractor; Decommissioning, removal from site and disposal of redundant equipment.
