    The Trust has a requirement for

    Disposable single patient use laryngoscope blade and handle system, assembled, pre-sterilised with batteries. Although we do require a fully assembled system due to the disposal regulations the batteries must be able to be removed once used. A range of Macintosh and McCoy size 3 & 4 blades are required.

    The Trust currently uses approximately 16,000 blades and handles a year containing a mixture of both Macintosh and McCoy size 3 & 4.
