    Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

    The purpose of this tender is to provide a contract for the provision of a service

    provider who will manage all requests for patient and Lancashire Care NHS

    Foundation Trust staff taxi journeys. The current spend on taxi journeys by

    LCFT is approximately £103,000 (excluding vat) per annum. The contract will

    consist mainly of low mileage journeys usually within the geographical

    boundaries of Lancashire but not excluding occasional need for journeys outside

    of these boundaries, if so required on the basis of either a single or return

    journey. Tenderers should note that although the quantities and descriptions in

    the tender are those used and required by Lancashire Care NHS Foundation

    Trust, this contract is open to and may be used by all NHS Trusts, CCGS and

    CSUs operating within Lancashire, including but not limited to; • Lancashire Care
