Short description
North Yorkshire Council is looking to establish a contract with a provider to deliver flu vaccinations to eligible Council employees.
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Contract Notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award.
This Contract is being offered under the Competitive Process in accordance with Regulation 11 of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.

Description of the procurement
North Yorkshire Council offers eligible employees the opportunity to receive a seasonal influenza vaccination through a programme of pop-up clinics delivered at Council premises across North Yorkshire.
The staff flu vaccination programme forms part of the Council's Seasonal Health Strategy and supports the health, wellbeing and resilience of the workforce during the winter period.
The Provider will be required to deliver a safe, accessible and confidential seasonal influenza vaccination service for eligible employees. The objectives of the Service are to:
• Increase access to seasonal influenza vaccination for eligible employees identified by the Council.
• Increase uptake of the influenza vaccine amongst eligible employees.
• Promote awareness and understanding of the seasonal influenza vaccination programme.
• Support the reduction of influenza transmission and infection, particularly amongst frontline staff and those working with vulnerable individuals.
• Deliver a user-friendly, non-judgemental, person-centred and confidential vaccination service from Council premises located across North Yorkshire.
• Supply, administer and record influenza vaccinations in accordance with all applicable legislation, clinical standards, professional requirements and data protection obligations.
• Provide management information and performance data as required by the Council.
This notice sets out the intention to conclude a competitive process and award a contract for the provision of Staff Flu Vaccinations.
The annual value of the contract is demand led and may range between £0 – £12,000 (excluding VAT) based on uptake and number of vaccination clinics held. There is no guarantee of spend.
The contract is for a new service that is intended to be awarded to a new Provider.
Initial term: 1 year 10 September 2026 – 09 September 2027
Option to extend: 1 year 10 September 2027 – 09 September 2028
Option to extend: 1 year 10 September 2028 – 09 September 2029
