    The Council would like to invite qualified suppliers to respond to this ITT for the provision of management services for Portslade Sports Centre. Suppliers must provide 2 bids - the first being a base bid with the supplier‘s bid based on best price and the second bid, a mandatory variant bid (identical to the base bid) except that the bid will be based on providing Living Wage for all staff.

    Additional information:

    The contract value is based on the multiplication of the maximum term of the contract (11 years) by the current annual deficit (£139,000 for 2013/14). The deficit has been calculated by subtracting the annual income from the sports centre from the annual expenditure. The deficit of £139,000 is the amount that the council currently subsidises the sports centre by each year. As a minimum, it is hoped that the winning provider will greatly reduce this deficit.
