Camden Council is seeking to procure sales and marketing services to assist in the delivery of residential developments across the London Borough of Camden.

The indicative services required under this contract will be:

    a) Sales agency services

    b) Marketing strategy and branding

    c) Valuation services, commercial and planning input into the residential and retail elements for developments

    d) Advice on design and specification

    e) Supporting the Council in the sales of shared ownership homes

    f) Advice on facilities management, service charge setting, and lease terms

Camden‘s new build residential programme is part of a wider Council plan called the Community Investment Programme (CIP). The CIP is a 15 year plan to invest money in schools, homes and community facilities. The Council may sell or redevelop properties that are out of date, expensive to maintain, or underused and difficult to access. This will help us generate funds that are not otherwise available to reinvest into improving other services and facilities.

The Council has a programme of direct development on its freehold land portfolio. A number of planning consents have been achieved, and the Council will be entering into construction contracts to build out the developments. All of the developments are mixed-tenure with a large number of market sales and shared ownership units that will deliver capital receipts for reinvestment.

Residential developments where sales and marketing services are required and are covered by this contract notice together with indicative market value:

    Abbey Road £88,000,000

    Agar Grove £200,000,000

    Bacton Low Rise £95,000,000

    Bourne Estate £35,000,000

    Gospel Oak Infill £39,500,000

    Greenwood Project £20,500,000

    Holly Lodge Phase 2 £11,500,000

    Surma Centre £8,900,000

    Tybalds Estate £30,000,000

The Council’s policy is to offer London Borough of Camden residents first option on the available residential units, thereafter the market can be opened nationally. Currently the Council’s policy is not to offer units for sale to the international market; however, this may be subject to change.

This contract will also cover future projects not listed above, to be called off as and when necessary by Camden Council.

Estimated cost excluding VAT: 9000000  GBP
