The Authority wishes to award a contract for Election Printing Services (through CCS Framework RM6280 Postal Goods, Services and Solutions framework – This will include the printing and mailing of documents including (but not exclusively) the following: Poll Cards, Postal Vote Packs, Ballot Papers, Corresponding Number Lists, Canvass Printing, CCA’s, CCB’s, Reminder Canvass Forms, Final Reminder Canvass Forms, Postage of all elements where required. Our Electorate in North Yorkshire totals approximately 500,000 people.
The Authority aims to deliver successful planned elections in 2027, 2028 and 2029 (expected date for next General Election), as well as all unscheduled by-election, Neighbourhood Plan Referendums and parish polls when they arise. This contract will also include printing for the annual canvass. North Yorkshire Council has approximately 500,000 registered electors and 90,000 postal voters.

Description of the procurement

The Authority wishes to award a contract for Election Printing Services (through CCS Framework RM6280 Postal Goods, Services and Solutions framework – Lot 6 Hybrid Mail, Digital and Transformational Communications) to cover all potential requirements for North Yorkshire Council and any other bodies that are using the Authority’s election team to run an election process. This will include the printing and mailing of documents including (but not exclusively) the following: Poll Cards, Postal Vote Packs, Ballot Papers, Corresponding Number Lists, Canvass Printing, CCA’s, CCB’s, Reminder Canvass Forms, Final Reminder Canvass Forms, Postage of all elements where required. Our Electorate in North Yorkshire totals approximately 500,000 people.

This contract will also include printing for the annual canvass. The successful bidder will produce all items as per above paragraph and as set out within Volume 1 – Specification document. North Yorkshire Council has approximately 500,000 registered electors and 90,000 postal voters. North Yorkshire Council is comprised of 89 Councillors across 87 divisions and there are over 400 parish councils in North Yorkshire. This contract will enable us to produce high quality, legally compliant election materials, delivered to voters in a timely manner, ensuring elections are well run, transparent and in accordance with the law.
