    The Southwest Police Procurement Department (SwPPD) invites tenders for the supply of clothing, footwear, cell bedding and toiletry products for detainees and victim of crime.

    Whilst in custody a detainee may be issued with various items. The Recovery Suites and Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) also issue victims of crime various items. These vary from Force to Force.

    Additional information:

    As part of the Procurement Process the SwPPD will be holding an Open Day to allow any Suppliers who are interested in Tendering for this Contract, the opportunity to view the products that are currently used under the existing Contract. This event will be held at Dorset Police Headquarters, Winfrith, Dorchester, Dorset DT2 8DZ on Wednesday 24th September. Any Suppliers who wish to attend must contact the Procurement Representative detailed in this notice and at paragraph 2.1.8 of the Tender Document in order to arrange a convenient appointment time to view the samples.

    As stated above, this event is to allow Suppliers the opportunity to view products that are currently being used, it is not for the purposes of asking questions about the Tender Documentation. Should suppliers have any queries in relation to the Tender Documentation these need to be submitted formally via the E-Tendering system in order that we able to manage and maintain a fair, open and transparent procurement process.
