Short description
Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT) is seeking a qualified provider to collaborate with a nationwide drug and alcohol service provider for the supply of needle and syringe products and all associated paraphernalia. The provider must deliver the service across a national geography, which currently includes Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Telford, Staffordshire, and Portsmouth. The service must be flexible to meet changing commissioning requirements over the life of the contract.
The service will include the provision of a range of needle and syringe products and associated paraphernalia, e-learning covering needle and syringe programme and Naloxone Awareness for Trust staff, printed materials for service users. Delivery will be available to Community Pharmacies, Trust Community Drug and Alcohol Services and directly to service users homes.

The provider must deliver the service across a national geography, which currently includes Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Telford, Staffordshire, and Portsmouth.The service must be flexible to meet changing commissioning requirements over the life of the contract.
The intention is to offer a future proof, safe, non judgmental, person centred confidential service built upon lived experience that is cost effective. The service will include the provision of a range of needle and syringe products and associated paraphernalia, e-learning covering needle and syringe programme and Naloxone Awareness for Trust staff, printed materials for service users. Delivery will be available to Community Pharmacies, Trust Community Drug and Alcohol Services and directly to service users homes.
The supplier will be required to provide an online ordering platform accessible to service users, community pharmacy and trust services that will be flexible to allow restrictions to product types and/or volumes dependent upon geographical area. It must meet accessibility, data protection and privacy requirements and legislation.
