Award of a contract without prior publication of a call for competition in the Find a Tender service in the cases listed below
  • The contract falls outside the scope of application of the regulation
Explanation
A direct selection took place in accordance with the Efficiency North Asbestos and
Demolition Framework Lot 3 – Licensed and Unlicensed Domestic & Civic Asbestos
Removal – Method 1 where the Licensee is able to determine which Contractor will provide
it with the most economically advantageous offer for the proposed Underlying Contract by
reference to the Contractors’ tender submissions for the Framework Agreement. The Direct
Selection was undertaken against all Contractors rates on Lot 3 of the Framework. Aspect
Contracts Limited was ranked first on Cost to Price Evaluation.
