Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust was formed on 1 June 2018 following a merger between South Staffordshire and Shropshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Partnership NHS Trust.
MPFT is a community trust that covers a large geographical area that covers areas such as Isle of Wight up to the North west and Merseyside area, however our main office environments are situated around the staffordshire and stoke on trent area.
As an organisation we serve a population of 1.5 million, over core geography of 2,400 square miles, and employ around 8,500 members of staff.
We have close links with local universities including Keele and Staffordshire.
We provide a vast range of community services for adults and children and specialised services such as rheumatology and rehabilitation, which are delivered in venues ranging from health centres, GP practices, community hospitals and people's own homes.
The Trust also provides services on a wider regional or national basis including perinatal, eating disorder and forensic services. We deliver out of area sexual health services and our Inclusions service offers psychological and substance misuse services, in the community and in prisons, with contracts across the country.
the purpose of this Pre Market Engagement exercise is to:
Establish procurement options and timescales
Establish solution options for procuring office furniture
Establish potential for social value
Establish potential bidder interest in this opportunity
This exercise is for information gathering and support to develop a specification for the provision and the standardisation of general office furniture.
MPFT wishes to engage with current and potential suppliers as part of premarket engagement prior to the tender being released.
Please note, The Trust are using this PIN to engage in a pre-market exercise specifically to support and inform the creation of an output specification reflective of the Trusts requirements for this procurement project. Whilst the Trust are engaging with suppliers in an informal manner this will not be taken into account as part of the procurement decisions and a full procurement exercise will follow on thereafter.
