This Prior Information Notice is to notify the market of the opportunity, and inform the market of a pre-market engagement event taking place on the 21st January 2025 to be held at Bradford City Hall, Bradford, BD1 1HY starting 10:30 am and concluding 11:30 am.

Description of the procurement

The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council wishes to conduct a premarket engagement event with interested and suitable suppliers that provide security services including but not limited to:
• Planned Guarding
• Keyholding
• Mobile & Ad-hoc Patrol Services
• Event Stewarding
• Event Guarding
This notice is to notify the market of the opportunity, and inform the market of a premarket engagement event taking place on the 21st January 2025 to be held at Bradford City Hall, Bradford, BD1 1HY starting 10:30 am and concluding 11:30 am.
Suppliers interested in the tender opportunity and the premarket engagement session are requested to express their interest and confirmation of their attendance via the correspondence functionality within the YORtender portal by no later than 12 noon on Wednesday 15th January 2025. Please ensure the names of the attendees (max of 2 attendees per company), a contact telephone number and email address are included. Any supplier attempting to attend the event who has not confirmed their attendance via the YORtender portal, will not be permitted access.
Please note this is a prior information notice and market engagement, with the tender release date circa late February 2025.
All information provided within the notice is subject to change, including but not limited to contract value, duration, scope of services, number of lots and route to market.
Please note all Questions and Answers (Q&A) will be noted and shared with all bidders.
All materials issued, and Q&A’s will be made available as part of any resulting tender pack.
Please note: Non-attendance at the event will not affect a supplier’s ability to participate in the future tender opportunity for security services.
The Council shall not accept liability for any costs and/or expenses incurred by Bidder(s) in preparation of their participation in this Procurement Exercise regardless of whether the Procurement Exercise is completed, abandoned or suspended.
