Short description

The Supply of a WDS equipment package to be supplied at UKAEA’s Culham Campus. The scope of work is expected to be delivered, installed, and commissioned within an estimated duration of 36 months. The scope of the Assemblies includes final process, mechanical and EC&I design, procurement, fabrication, assembly, Factory Acceptance Testing, delivery, and installation at the Culham site, plus Site Acceptance Testing and Integrated Testing. Design – A process design has been produced for the Water Detritiation System and the proposed equipment has been separated into 10 Assemblies as manageable deliverables. The 10 Assemblies consist of process equipment mostly installed within gloveboxes, and one air extracted cabinet. Manufacturing, FAT, Delivery, Installation, SAT, Integrated Testing & Commissioning - The 10 Assemblies require manufacture, assembly within containments and installation.

The scope of work is expected to be delivered, installed, and commissioned within an estimated duration of 36 months. The scope of the Assemblies includes final process, mechanical and EC&I design, procurement, fabrication, assembly, Factory Acceptance Testing, delivery, and installation at the Culham site, plus Site Acceptance Testing and Integrated Testing. Design – A process design has been produced for the Water Detritiation System and the proposed equipment has been separated into 10 Assemblies as manageable deliverables. The 10 Assemblies consist of process equipment mostly installed within gloveboxes, and one air extracted cabinet. Manufacturing, FAT, Delivery, Installation, SAT, Integrated Testing & Commissioning - The 10 Assemblies require manufacture, assembly within containments and installation. This includes (but not limited to): installation of the equipment; agreeing and identifying tie-points for process service and electrical distribution interfaces; agreeing and identifying other process interfaces. The Contractor must undertake Factory Acceptance Testing. The commissioning of the fully integrated subsystems shall be carried out by the UKAEA Operations team with support from the Systems Integrator and The Contractor. During inactive commissioning all operations will be tested, and the plant performance assessed under a wide range of expected operating conditions. The Contractor shall provide, People Rates for assisting with commissioning.
