Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council are seeking a provider to deliver a prevention pilot working with people who have recently attempted suicide and are known to services such as RDASH Crisis and Hospital Liaison Teams. The service is not an emergency service and will work with people that have attempted suicide where their physical and mental health needs have been assessed and met. The pilot will have a particular focus of working with people who have attempted suicide due to life events such as relationship breakdown, loss of job, financial worries, bereavement. The service will provide emotional resilience coaching to build coping skills, support with emotional regulation and alleviate psychological distress as well as support to access other services available in the community. The aim of the service is to reduce social isolation, reduce suicidal thinking, increase emotional resilience, reduce suicidal activity, improve quality of life and improve coping mechanisms. The pilot service will be for adults (18 years and above) living in the Rotherham Borough and/or registered with a Rotherham GP.

It is expected that the future opportunity will run for a period of at least 12 months from contract commencement, 1 April 2025, with a maximum budget of £95,000.00.

Bidders are advised that the maximum budget available for the provision of this pilot contract is £95,000.00 The contract pilot is expected to last for at least 12 months of operational delivery from contract commencement with the available budget.
