Short description

The UK regional police forces serving West Mercia, Staffordshire and Warwickshire are commencing market engagement activities ahead of a possible tender exercise for the following police custody based services:
- Provision of Detention Officer
- Detainee healthcare services
Initially the three forces are seeking expressions of interest from potential providers with whom the forces can engage further to inform service requirements ahead of a possible procurement exercise to commence in early 2024. It is anticipated that services would commence from September 2024.
The exercise is anticipated to be lotted by service and/or geographic region however this will be informed by the market engagement activity.
For the avoidance of doubt there is no guarantee that any of the police forces will engage for any or all of the listed services and at this stage are only seeking to understand market options ahead of a possible exercise.
