Description:
Market Engagement Notice We are inviting potential providers to come to our offices to do a 10-minute presentation and a 10-minute question and answer session on November 7th, 2023. Doncaster Virtual School is a successful and dedicated team of officers that perform above national expectations and advocate strongly for their children in care and other vulnerable groups. Alongside the Virtual Head Teacher, 10 officers are responsible for raising achievement and positive education experiences for the children on their caseloads. For 2023/24 school year, current child numbers are projected as: Early Years: 50 Statutory School Age: 300 Post-16: 120 Our success has been built on an existing digital platform which has become the integral system to meet our statutory duties. Over a 5-year period, a platform has evolved into a bespoke product that is well-received and endorsed by our partner schools and settings. Our demands to work somewhat differently is a key feature and we are concerned that a simple ‘off the shelf’ product will struggle to meet our specific needs. Naturally, we are keen to work closely and collaboratively with the successful provider to ensure any transition is seamless, offers new benefits and maintain the high standards of service delivery. City of Doncaster council are seeking to appoint a provider to supply a digital platform for the Virtual School team to perform their statutory data collation requirements. The platform will enable them to successfully collate data across all key phases from Early Years to Post-16 and potentially 18+. Key functions include attendance monitoring, ePEP platform, analytics, reporting, system support and in-contract adaptations. In addition, our new wider duties for all children with a social worker, offers scope for further flexibility and the introduction of new products to support these extended responsibilities. Consequently, we are keen to hear what you can offer over the lifetime of this contract.
