The Staffordshire Commissioner for Police, Fire and Crime (The Commissioner) wishes to commission a free, effective, tailored, high quality sexual assault and abuse service across Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent which will help sexual assault and abuse victims cope and recover from the impact of the crime and the harm they have experienced.
The service will as a minimum include the following key elements:
• A cope and recover specialist support service for victims;
• A counselling and therapy service;
• A support service for close family members and significant others of victims;
• Specialist sexual assault and abuse related advice / input to education establishments.
All elements of the service will be delivered across Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent and be subject to regular reviews.
