Barnsley Council and Barnsley Integrated Care Board is looking to appoint a Housing Provider to deliver and manage a new build housing scheme for specialist-supported living to provide long-term accommodation for three individuals (from Barnsley) with a learning disability or autism. The delivery of the scheme will be reliant on the Housing Provider appointed securing capital funding from NHS England Capital for the build. The process for obtaining the funding must see the funding secured by March 2024, with the build completed by March 2025. The Housing Provider will be required to enter into a long term lease agreement with the Council for the provision of housing management of the properties for these specific cohort of residents.The procurement for the project will be via an Open Competition process
