Barnsley Council is looking to procure a Multi Disciplinary Design Team lead by a Conservation Architect, to provide professional services to design and manage the Phase 1 roof repair works at Cannon Hall , to support the Client in the procurement of a contractor and manage the works on site to successful delivery.
Barnsley Council would like bidders of this tender to also provide their price for fulfilling the same roles and responsibilities for Phase 2 (funding not yet secured).
The funding for the works is awarded grant funding from the Museum Estate Development Fund (MEND), which is part of the government’s Cultural Investment Fund. It is supported using public funding by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport and administered by Arts Council England.
