Title attributed to the contract: Grimsby Creates Audience Development Plan and Toolkit
Description:
The Authority is seeking to appoint a Provider to develop an Audience Development Plan and Toolkit for North East Lincolnshire to enhance the borough’s cultural offer, visitor economy, skills and talent retention, wellbeing and civic pride. The Authority wishes to understand and improve relationships with our audiences. We are specifically seeking help with drawing together the existing knowledge of our audiences, understanding our audience’s place in the newly developed Creativity Strategy and how we develop our audience engagement of culture and heritage in the borough. The Provider will take a forward-looking approach to an aspirational and coherent audience development plan for NEL that is purposeful, relevant and resilient and usable by all arts, culture and heritage providers in NEL. The NEL Audience Development Action Plan and Toolkit should involve audiences including local residents in more interactive, imaginative and meaningful ways. We want our plan to be a base for growing audiences, increasing reach, building deeper relationships and doing those things to the best of our abilities and resources, through the collective effort of our colleagues and stakeholders. The plan needs to be easy for everyone to understand and relate to, practical and evidence based. The Audience Development Plan and Toolkit should showcase the positive impact that culture and heritage is making to the area whilst outlining longer-term ambitions building on progress made in recent years and highlighting how audiences in NEL wish to engage in culture and heritage.
