NHS Nottingham & Nottinghamshire (referred to as the Commissioner) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to express their interest in delivering the Service(s) under an Any Qualified Provider (AQP) framework, by responding to this opportunity as required and described in this document, and within the published tender.
The key objectives of the AQP process are:
• To establish a list of approved providers, who can deliver high quality, outcome focused packages of care for children and young people living at home with their families.
• To develop a service which can meet the highly complex health needs of children and young people in Nottinghamshire in accordance with the principles of the National Framework for Children and Young People with Continuing Care guidance and the national personalisation agenda.
It is important to note that the contract does not guarantee any volume of activity or payment to a provider. Please refer to Schedule 3 in Document 3 – Contract Particulars for tariff details.
The Tariff value and activity levels have been derived based on past experience. There is no guarantee that they will remain at these levels in the future. They may increase or decrease. This contract is awarded on a zero value, zero volume basis and activity levels may differ during the period of service provision due to factors beyond the Commissioner’(s) control such as increase/decrease in population of the local area, closure of other nearby NHS health organisations due to unforeseen reasons, patient’s experience/preference etc.
