The optical interferometry group in the department of Physics and Astronomy is undertaking the development BIFROST, a new instrument for an astronomical observatory. Key optics required to operate the instrument are the four deformable mirrors which this procurement aims to procure. This project has received funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (grant agreement No 101003096).
