Description of the procurement

Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council (The Client) is looking to appoint a Contractor to deliver construction of multi user footway/cycleways along both the A635 and A61 corridors in Barnsley. Works will include amending both existing footways, carriageways and public rights of ways to create a safe shared use network.
The Contractor is required to price a Bill of Quantities which has been prepared by the Council.
The Contractor is required to complete the works by the 31st of March 2023 to meet the requirements of the funding which is coming from the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA).
