Description:

Winchester City Council (‘the Council’) is seeking the design, supply and installation 
of a children’s play area at North Walls Play Area, Winchester SO23 7DD. 
The new design will replace the pre-existing play area and is required to meet all 
current regulations and best practice.  The play area needs to be safe, engaging 
and fun and will be fully aligned to the commitment set out in the Council Plan 
2020 - 2025. 
The maximum budget available for this project (including contingencies) is £150,000. 
The contract start date is expected to be in January 2023 with commencement on site 
in late April / early May 2023.

The site is public open space and is accessible 24 hours a day.  Site visits by the contractor should ideally be on a Tuesday or Wednesday and accompanied by a representative from WCC; requests for visits should be made with the Project Officer, Linda Penney by email LPenney@winchester.gov.uk
