Description of the procurement
The Police and Crime Commissioner for Suffolk is looking to engage the market for a Countywide Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) Service. The service safeguards, through effective safety planning, victims of domestic abuse who are assessed as high risk.
The Suffolk Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) service was first commissioned by the PCC in 2014 and subsequently in 2018. In order to ensure continuity of a service for high risk victims of domestic abuse in Suffolk, to ensure value for money for the public purse, the Office of the PCC shall be embarking on a procurement process with the intention to award a contract to start from 1st October 2023.
To support the commissioning of this service, the OPCC would like to engage with specialist service providers and interested parties to understand the current supply landscape and furthermore to inform the development of the service specification and share the planned procurement timeline.
We therefore invite any interested organisations to a supplier engagement event in Ipswich (location to be confirmed) from 11:00 – 13:00 hours on Tuesday the 22nd of November 2022.
If you would like to attend or require information on this opportunity, please ensure you express interest in the PIN, and send a message via the portal confirming attendance, so formal invites can be shared. Please confirm the number of attendees, their full name and email address.
Site attendance instructions will be sent with the invite.
