In order to meet its' statutory obligation under Section 149 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 Hull City Council is looking to appoint an organisation that can kennel stray dogs; both those collected by the Council’s Animal Wardens and those handed in by members of the public. As an enhanced service the Council is looking for a kennel provider who on expiry of the 7 day statutory detainment period are able to take ownership of most of the remaining dogs with a view to rehoming them to new owners.
