Short description
The Council is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified Provider (the Provider) to supply End User Computer equipment. This can include, but is not limited to products such as Desktops, Workstations, Laptops, Tablets, Monitors and Video conferencing. The Council is looking to continue the purchase of their existing device portfolio. This is to ensure a stable environment for users with devices which have already been thoroughly tested and are currently in use across the Council. During the course of the contract, if a product becomes End of Life or if there is a specific business need for an alternative product, the Council will work with the Provider to test and purchase alternative items. It is anticipated that the contract will be for a period of 4 years with an option to extend by 2 periods of 12 months. The estimated annual value of this contract is £1.5m The Council reserves the right to amend the scope of the support requirement for the extension period.
