UKAEA is researching remote cold cutting nuclear decommissioning size reduction technologies and has performed diamond wire saw (DWS) cutting trials on a specific, composite material component. Description of the procurement

• The Contractor is to report on the trial and advise on Client’s final cutting system design
• Cutting Targets (Targets) will be defined by UKAEA
Through this process we are looking to open up engagement with suppliers to ensure there is sufficient production capability and capacity to meet project timelines and design requirements.
