BlueLight Commercial is working in collaboration with UK Police Forces to develop a Public Order Headwear for Mounted Officers that combines the requirements of the current PSU and riding helmets. It is intended to carry out market engagement in relation to the following areas: 1. PSU combined Riding Helmet – Development of PSU headwear that is appropriate for equestrian activity and caters for the associated risks, such as, a fall from height, married to the essential protection from hand thrown missiles and manual attack weapons. 2. Please note: There is a maximum capacity of 30 at the Thames Valley Mounted Section.
If demand exceeds 30, BlueLight Commercial will look at organising a 2nd engagement day with a date TBC. Please note that there is a limit of 1 participants per organisation.
