Description:
NHS Arden GEM CSU are seeking to procure the time, expertise, and independence of a specialist organisation (The provider) to manage a Clinical Network for the sites that NHS England commissions within the children and young people secure estate. The ‘Managed Clinical Advisory Group’, will function as a specific child health group (draft ToR at Appendix 1); with links to the main Health and Justice Clinical Reference Group and Children Mental Health Clinical Reference Group. The Managed Clinical Advisory Group will act as the specialist children and young people subgroup. It will provide assurance and guidance on clinical matters relevant to the children and young people secure estate and support the implementation of the Framework for Integrated Care (SECURE STAIRS) and Framework for Integrated Care (Community). It will identify/develop future key priority areas, manage task and finish groups; advise on specific risks and issues that require clinical input (where these are previously identified and/or escalated by commissioning colleagues) and lead on or advise on, thematic reviews. 5.1 Outputs required: 5.1.1 To ensure the presence of the voice of the child/young person/family/carer in service and policy and guidance development 5.1.2 All health services are integrated in the children and young people secure estate, to ensure support for the Framework for Integrated Care (SECURE STAIRS). 5.1.3 The Managed Clinical Advisory Group will be part of the NHS England and NHS Improvement formal governance structure for reviewing and contributing to relevant policies and procedures.
