This contract is for the servicing, maintenance and repair of school kitchen equipment and air handling systems for Sheffield City Council.
The 90 schools which currently operate within the school catering arrangements are a mixture of Nursery and Primary, Special and Secondary schools.
The service objectives include:
• To ensure that the highest standards of Health & Safety are achieved in all sites, at all times.
• To provide a responsive and effective repair service in all sites as required, and which minimises disruption to the Catering Service.
With the standard of school food well established within a legal contract, together with a professional catering contractor, and a new contract for the service and maintenance of equipment, there is opportunity for shared experiences for kitchen developments which, if funding becomes available, can bring development opportunities for the benefit of the service.
